Garfield

First appearance: June 19, 1978
A cynical, lazy, lasagna-loving, Monday-hating, dog-punting, mailman-mauling fat cat. Garfield's passion for food and sleep is matched only by his aversion to diet and exercise.

Oddie

First appearance: August 8, 1978
Lovable, but brainless as a brick, Odie is Garfield's faithful friend... and often the butt of Garfield's jokes. Odie never thinks, sometimes barks, and always slobbers.

Liz is a vet that gives a dog to Jon, whose name is Oddie, so that Jon can take care of it. Garfield is not very happy about it, because he does not want a dog to invade his territory, and he is very jealous when Jon shows more interest in Oddie than him. Later Oddie is kidnapped by Happy Chapman and Garfield goes to rescue it.

2006

Garfield and his owner go to England where Garfield is confused by a noble cat who has inherited a castle. Garfield takes advantage of the treatment that he receives, and the one who specially takes care of him is the housekeeper, a bulldog. The evil Lord Dargis wants to kill Garfield and become the new owner of the castle. Garfield, Oddie and the rest of the servants will try to stop him.
